Janice Harding

Janice brings expertise on two fronts – she has been a first-line manager and senior manager and she has extensive experience of designing and implementing programmes and coaching for all levels of management. Janice has over 25 years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical sector, in all sizes of business from Big Pharma to smaller niche Research Foundations. Early in her career she realised that she could combine her scientific approach, a legacy of her Biochemistry degree, and extravert personality in the area of learning and development. This led her to join Innovex/Quintiles as a Training Director at a time when the Pharmaceutical Industry was adapting its approach and becoming more innovative. She brought new ideas to life with her confident and inspiring approach, Janice went on to work for many years as a Sales Director and Business Development Director and truly understands the challenges of first-line and senior management.

Always looking for a challenge, Janice took a break from Pharmaceuticals and worked in a Human Resources role in the Finance sector. She focused on new approaches in a highly analytical and pressurized environment which has meant Janice can relate to financial teams in a more inclusive and involving manner.

Most recently Janice returned to providing capability development within Medical Affairs, specializing in design and delivery of bespoke programmes as Lead Facilitator and Executive Coach. Janice’s work at New In Role allows her to ensure each person flourishes, whether in the coaching environment or attending a workshop and she cares that there is learning and enjoyment in every interaction. In her spare time, she loves reading, dancing and long walks (although not at the same time)!
Erik Jan has had 14 transitions in his career, from Area Manager in the Nordics and Middle East to Marketing Manager in Belgium to Sales and BU Director in the UK, culminating into Regional President Europe and subsequently Board member of a start-up. During his career he has not only made these transitions himself but has seen and supported many transitions of his direct reports and peers and in the last 10 years directly supported organisations, teams and individuals in realising their potential whilst going through change. This support has been whilst in an executive position and latterly also as an ‘insider outside’, through projects, workshops and team and individual coaching and mentoring.
